It’s shocking how quickly time can fly. It’s already the fourth week of the 2019 NFL season, which means a quarter of the games will have been played following the upcoming slate. Struggling teams will find themselves suddenly in must-win situations in order to salvage their seasons, while the legitimate contenders will begin to emerge.
But there’s still much time to separate the wheat from the chaff; few teams, based on the oddsmakers’ projections, have proven dominant. As only two — the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets — are currently standing out as legitimately bad (and the latter mercifully gets a bye in Week 4) most odds for Week 4 have games with points favorites of one touchdown or fewer.
