The further we get into the NFL season, the more we see the cream rise to the top. Teams like the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints have continued to prove they are among the best in football with their winning performances, and bad squads like the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins have shown they lost causes.
We can use this information to help inform our betting choices each week, and this week some of the NFL’s best teams headline our five best bets for Week 7. We’ll get our list started, however, with a potential shootout at the Meadowlands.
5. Giants-Cardinals Over 49.5
Betting the over is always a ton of fun when you’re looking for a game to watch. Even a game between two teams that probably aren’t going anywhere can be exciting if you’re rooting for the scoreboard to flip at a rapid speed, which should be the case at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
The New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals are both starting rookie quarterbacks who have flashed big time potential while going through some growing pains. Neither squad is very proficient on defense, with the Giants surrendering 35 points in a loss to the New England Patriots last Thursday while Arizona served up 33 to Atlanta on Sunday.
