Twitter reacts to Myles Garrett’s unsportsmanlike conduct during the final moments of Thursday Night Football.

Myles Garrett is in a heap of trouble following his actions in the final seconds of the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers game on Thursday night. The Brown’s defensive end was involved in an ugly scene where he was seen ripping the helmet off Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and then hitting him in the head with it.

The scene nearly caused an all-out brawl with both teams clearing the benches to defend (or pull back) their teammate.

These videos show some of what happened from a few different angles.

Of course, the fans took to Twitter immediately to condemn the action of Garrett, some even calling for a lifetime ban from the NFL.

Baker Mayfield, the Browns quarterback, spoke out against the actions of his teammate moments after the game was over.

“I didn’t see why it started, but it’s inexcusable. I don’t care, rivalry or not, we can’t do that. That’s kind of the history of what’s been going on here lately, hurting yourself, and that’s just endangering the other team. It’s inexcusable, he knows that. I hope he does now. It’s tough. We’ll see,” Mayfield said (h/t profootballtalk) “I don’t think there’s anything in that moment that I can really say to calm him down. The reality is he’s going to get suspended, we don’t know how long, and that hurts our team. We can’t do that. We can’t continue to hurt this team. It’s inexcusable.”

The Browns ended up with the win, 21-7.
