The stakes are high as the NFL season hits the stretch run, so picking hot teams and playoff contenders is the key to success for savvy bettors in Week 15.

The NFL season is winding down, and that makes it tougher and tougher to bet on the games each week. Its impossible to tell the motivations of teams who are playing out the string while injuries can wreak havoc on contenders, making the exercise of NFL gambling a challenging one.

FanSided is here to help as we offer you our five best bets of Week 15, beginning with a low-wattage game in the Steel City.

5. Bills-Steelers Under 37

Buffalo and Pittsburgh may have been flexed into Sunday Night Football, but it wasn’t due to the fact these two teams have high-wattage offenses. The Bills feature ascending second-year quarterback Josh Allen, but he has had struggles with accuracy in the past, while Pittsburgh is on its third quarterback of the year and has been down its two best offensive weapons for the past few weeks.

In addition, both the Bills and Steelers have dominant defensive units, which have carried them into the top two wild card spots in the AFC. The oddsmakers have set a low over/under total of 37 for this game, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this one turn into a real defensive battle.

Considering the fact that these two teams have trouble scoring as is and both defenses rank in the top 10 in terms of points per game allowed, bet the under with this game.
