Aaron Donald and Hollywood Brown are a wrecking crew on the field, but they’re spending this Super Bowl trying to fix the world.
Super Bowl campaigns are usually goofy, weird, and unless they puncture the zeitgeist, disposable. But Snickers is trying something different, taking all the celebrity and pomp involved with a Super Bowl campaign and using it for the greater good.
Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Baltimore Ravens receiver Hollywood Brown are serving as the celebrity power of the campaign which is less concerned with going viral and more concerned with making the world a better place.
The irony of Donald, the best defensive player in the known universe, operating heavy machinery shouldn’t be lost on anyone. But he wasn’t always the wrecking ball he is now.
“I grew up a lazy kid,” Donald said, explaining to FanSided’s Mark Carman that his father was a big part of his work ethic and why he’s so successful today.
As for Donald, he absolutely expects to be back in the Super Bowl again.
For now, though, a Super Bowl will have to wait. But in the meantime, Donald and Brown will be using their powers to try and make the world a better place.
