Patrick Mahomes is inspiration for epic tooth pull (Video)

A young Patrick Mahomes fan had a loose tooth, and he channeled the talents of his favorite player to get that sucker out.

Patrick Mahomes is inspiring everything. Including tooth-pullings.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s SportsCenter account tweeted a young boy attempting to dislodge a loose tooth. The method? Go full Patrick Mahomes.

One end of the string around the tooth, the other attached to a Kansas City Chiefs’ football. After saying “this is how an MVP gets their tooth out,” the youngster threw the ball and with a second later, his tooth was free.

Mahomes has undoubtedly been the inspiration for plenty. His exploits on the field led to the Chiefs winning their first Super Bowl in 50 years last month, so you can imagine the amount of bad tattoos. It’s also safe to imagine plenty of kids trying to launch passes with their left hands or without looking — probably leading to some broken windows in the neighborhood.

But this? Another level. We’re talking about a tooth being yanked out, which hopefully leads to a little money from the Tooth Fairy. Maybe Mahomes gets in on the action and demands a cut considering his role in this thing.

After winning both the Super Bowl and the game’s MVP award, Mahomes has plenty of adoring fans. In two seasons as a starter, the 24-year-old is one of the game’s most decorated players, including a 2018 NFL MVP award, earned by throwing for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns.

In Vegas, the Chiefs are early favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions, getting 6/1 odds.
