Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady, finds a new practice area following park kick-out and it’s Derek Jeter’s house.
It pays to have friends in high places, even if you are a six-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady. The newly signed Tampa Bay Buccaneer QB was spotting working out in a Tampa Bay. FL park last week and was promptly kicked out. To make matters worse, Brady also accidentally trespassed when he walked into the wrong home.
Now, just days later Brady has figured out a new location to work out — former New York Yankee, Derek Jeter’s old house.
In a short three-second video, posted to Brady’s Instagram story he’s seen running a drill, with helmet and shoulder pads in the backyard, complete with astroturf.
Brady has been staying in Jeter’s massive waterfront mansion since the beginning of April
“The home, which they are renting features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an entertainment room and billiards room that wraps around a pool with two boat lifts providing access to Tampa Bay,” according to The Tampa Bay Times.
Luckily, Brady isn’t taking too much of these troubles to heart.
“I’m so happy to be in Tampa Bay,” Brady said in a lighthearted social media post. “And I wanted to say thank you guys for welcoming me and my family into your community with open arms — outside of getting kicked out of a park the other day. I’m so excited to be a Buc!”
The mayor of Tampa, Jane Castor, issued a lengthy apology on the matter last week and welcomed him to the area. That statement will look good in the NFL Hall of Fame someday.
