Kansas Chiefs head coach Andy Reid continues to be a national treasure

Few head coaches in the NFL have more swag than the one and only Andy Reid.

Ever since he first arrived to the sidelines as a head coach in 1999 with the Philadelphia Eagles, he’s owned his area of the field like a true boss.

Now with the reigning Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs, Reid’s popularity has only skyrocketed among NFL fans. Well, if you needed another reason to love the KC head man, take a look at this old school photo of him in Hawaii at the Pro Bowl.

You won’t be disappointed.

Oh, Andy, we don’t deserve you.

Where to even begin with this photo? A much younger Reid is oozing with confidence. Is it the great hair? The sunglasses? What about the death stare to the opposing sideline? Quite frankly, you have a little bit of everything from this glorious image.

Reid may be 62 years old now, but he’s still got a young heart. He’s made that much clear ever since he took over the show in Kansas City to guide the Chiefs.

Reid is a national treasure, there’s no arguing that fact one bit. What makes him even more special is his brilliant ways as a coach. In his time with both the Eagles and Chiefs, Reid has a 207-128 record. He’s been to the Super Bowl two times, losing to the Pats with the Eagles in 2004, only to bring home his first title this past February with the Chiefs.

What a year it was for Kansas City too. With Reid leading the charge and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes powering the offense, the Chiefs were truly an unstoppable force. Many have already pegged them as the favorites to win it all once again next winter.

If they’re to get that job done, Mahomes will rightfully receive a ton of credit. Don’t forget about Mr. Reid, though, as he continues to steal our hearts both on and off the field.
