The Dallas Cowboys schedule looks like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper should win double-digit games and make the playoffs.
Last season, the Cowboys went 8-8. They started the season 3-0, then watched their division lead dissipate. Jason Garrett was fired, and Mike McCarthy was named head coach.
Dak Prescott will be back under center this season. Although, he will be playing for another long-term deal after the two sides failed to meet terms on an extension.
Some significant starters from last year’s team have since left. Byron Jones signed with the Miami Dolphins in free agency, Travis Frederick retired, and Randall Cobb inked a deal with the Houston Texans.
Dontari Poe, Gerald McCoy and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix were signed to help strengthen the defense. In the draft, Jerry Jones continued bettered the team with selections such as CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs.

Last season, the Cowboys hammered the Rams at home by a score of 44-21. The Rams, once considered one of the NFC’s best, have gone through a roster change. Sean McVay’s team went 9-7 last year, and they could be in for a 7-9 or 8-8 year this season. Although, the offense is still somewhat intact. Even then, the Cowboys will be able to score on the Rams. They will get the lead and force Goff into uncomfortable circumstances, which will lead to turnovers.

Dan Quinn’s Falcons were projected to compete for years out of the NFC South. Matt Ryan did win an MVP, and the team did make one Super Bowl, but other than that, they have failed to meet expectations. Now, the Falcons still pose a threat. They have talent on both sides of the ball. Last year, the roster was hit with injuries and still finished 7-9 after a brutal 1-7 start to the season. This game might be played even closer than the predicted score. Ryan is still a good starting quarterback, and Julio Jones is one of the hardest receivers to defend in the NFL. But, the Falcons just don’t have enough.

Pete Carroll no longer has one of the best defenses in the NFL. Now, the Seahawks are more reliant on the offense led by MVP candidate Russell Wilson. Seattle is also still one of the hardest environments to win in, as the crowd is always rambunctious each home game. Winning on the road is always a challenge, especially against a star quarterback in one of the most hostile environments in the NFL. This game will be played close the whole time, but Wilson will get his team in a position to steal it late.

In his brief career, Baker Mayfield has not played the Cowboys yet. More importantly, he has not played America’s team in Jerry World. This game will draw a lot of attention. Prescott against Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. back in Dallas, and two dynamic offenses loaded with playmakers going at it. The Cowboys have won each of the last four matchups with the Browns. Most recently, beating them 35-10 in Cleveland in 2016. Mayfield will lead the Browns to a win this time. Kevin Stefanski’s offense just has too many ways to beat you with the likes of Beckham, Jarvis Landry and Nick Chubb. It will be close, but the Browns will pull this one out on the road.
