Bengals fans can pre-order their Joe Burrow jerseys. He’s definitely going to Cincinnati

Cincinnati Bengals, NFL Draft

The Cincinnati Bengals were blown away by Joe Burrow during their meeting at the NFL Combine.

Joe Burrow will be the No. 1 pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

There is no drama surrounding the to pick as the Bengals are definitely going to take the Athens, Ohio native and former Ohio State-turned-LSU quarterback, with the top pick.

As if there was any suspense about who the Bengals were taking after parting ways with Andy Dalton earlier in the offseason and Burrow coming off the best season ever seen by a college quarterback.

Media speculation that Burrow was angling out of playing for Cincinnati and was going to “pull an Eli” and refuse to play for the team that drafted him was never going to happen. Burrow put that to rest earlier this week when he met with the assembled media at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

Burrow said he was not going to not play and would play for whoever drafted him. He didn’t want to be presumptuous and make himself the top pick when it’s not his decision. He didn’t outright say, “I want to play for the Cincinnati Bengals” which may leave some Bengals fans feeling anxious.

Don’t worry.

After meeting with the Bengals at the Combine, the result was similar to what Burrow did to opposing defenses last year: he blew them away.

“I can tell you that from speaking with a person in that meeting, they were blown away by Joe Burrow, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported. “He said that he was like ‘a 10-year vet.’ That he ‘exceptional’.

“I think after hearing the way this meeting went down, we should absolutely expect Joe Burrow to wind up No. 1 with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Of course, that’s about as surprising as discovering the plate of fajitas you ordered at Chili’s is scorching hot. Everyone knows this!

Shut it down. Let’s go home. It’s a wrap. The Bengals are drafting Burrow and anything you hear to the contrary is just fueling the pre-draft process when you can’t believe anything you see and hear from NFL people.

You can, however, believe this, and Burrow being the savior for the Bengals and delivering them to AFC North division titles and their first playoff win since 1991, roughly five years before he was born.

Start pre-ordering your Burrow No. 9 Bengals jerseys so you have them in plenty of time to wear for the NFL Draft when it begins on Thursday, April 23.

The NFL Draft is famous for surprises and last-minute shocking reveals but that will have to wait for the No. 2 pick with the Redskins, but most likely, at the No. 3 pick where the Detroit Lions will have the No. 3 pick up for auction for whoever wants Tua Tagovailoa.

Burrow should already be signing his contract with the Bengals by the time the real drama begins.
