The Kansas City Chiefs had two stars playing against each other on Madden on Wednesday night, and Tyreek Hill absolutely plowed Tyrann Mathieu.
Tyreek Hill is apparently unsatisfied with winning the Super Bowl.
A day short of two months since winning football’s ultimate prize, Hill once again rolled to victory, this time in a dominant Madden showing.
The four-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro hung 62 points on Chiefs teammate Tyrann Mathieu in The Checkdown’s Madden 20 Tournament charity event, causing the star safety to turn the game off in its final moments.
The final score? 62-32.
During the game, people from around the country were chiming in, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes appeared to have a good laugh watching the carnage unfold on his screen. Especially when Hill taunted Mathieu on the final play.
Afterwards, there was some talk being laid down by Mathieu, who eventually deleted the tweet. Of course, this is Twitter, and tweets live on forever.
Making this beatdown even more impressive was Hill played with the Chicago Bears, while Mathieu had Kansas City on his side. Somehow, the Super Bowl champs got boatraced. You can imagine this will come up a time or two when the duo gets together in training camp this summer.
One guy who had a big game? Bears safety Eddie Jackson, who helped the Chicago defense score three times in the first half.
With everyone stuck inside during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Madden tournament is both for a good caused gives people a welcome distraction … even if it is causing some fun-loving friction for teammates.
