It’s a team that won five of its final nine games after a miserable showing in its first seven outings a year ago. It’s a franchise that was supposedly not interested in winning in 2019 but as the numbers show, Brian Flores’ club got better as the season wore on. And the Miami Dolphins are less than three weeks away from utilizing an NFL-high 14 draft choices to the best of the organization’s abilities.

Encouraging words from a young player after the Miami Dolphins wrapped up their first season under Brian Flores and offensive lineman Michael Deiter concluded his rookie campaign.
“Mentally, I’ve been sharper towards the end of the year,” explained the 2019 third-round pick to Steve Gorten of the Palm Beach Post. “There’s been some techniques that have been better. But there’s still so much more that I need to get better with.”
The former University of Wisconsin product played in all 16 contests and made 15 starts at left guard.
