The Arizona Cardinals now have a real target for Kyler Murray and that should open up the offense, while their defenses could be loaded as well.

The Arizona Cardinals won just five games in 2019, but they could be much-improved in 2020 with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins. The arrival of the superstar wide receiver should help to create opportunities for other pass-catchers, and will make things easier on second-year quarterback Kyler Murray.

Defensively, the Cardinals have a solid core, relying heavily on pass-rusher Chandler Jones. He should have some much-improved company on that side of the ball this season though.

1. WR Andy Isabella

The Cardinals drafted Andy Isabella in the second round of the draft last year, but he didn’t really excite anyone throughout the season. He wasn’t targeted at all until Week 6 and finished the season with just nine receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown.

Isabella was limited in the number of offensive snaps he received for the Cardinals, but that could change with a solid training camp and start to the 2020 campaign. The team won’t want to give up on a player drafted that high again like they did with Josh Rosen.

Isabella has the speed to burn defenders, posting a 4.31 40-yard dash time at the 2019 NFL Combine. He just has to find a way to translate that speed into plays. He’s a player that could see an astronomical boost in production with Hopkins also on the field.
