The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to repeat as NFC East champions, so winning these five games would be a big help to the cause.

We are in the midst of one of the best eras of Philadelphia Eagles’ football in years, which is an exciting prospect for the team’s fanbase. The Eagles have made the playoffs three straight years, highlighted by a Super Bowl championship in the 2018 season.

Last year saw the Eagles win the NFC East for the second time in three years before Carson Wentz suffered a concussion in a first-round playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Philadelphia has its work cut out for it to win the division again with the Dallas Cowboys poised to make another run under new head coach Mike McCarthy.

Let’s take a look at five games that the Eagles have to win this season, beginning with an in-state grudge match against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

5. At Pittsburgh Steelers

The Battle of Pennsylvania is always important for the Eagles’ fans to get bragging rights over their much more successful neighbors to the west. Philadelphia took care of business against Pittsburgh in their last meeting, rolling to a 34-3 win at home in 2016.

A lot has changed for both sides over the past four years, but the Eagles have been the more successful franchise of late. Finding a way to beat the Steelers again will be a good start to a successful year for Philadelphia.
