Ezekiel Elliott’s quarantine hairstyle is absolutely amazing

Ezekiel Elliott’s quarantine afro is something else and we can’t look away.

Like many of us, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been in isolation.

The former No. 4 overall pick out of The Ohio State University has been the bell-cow back for America’s Team for the last four seasons. When he’s at his best, Elliott is the best running back in football. Unfortunately, this offseason has not gone according to plan for any of us, especially Elliott.

Just last week, news got at that Elliott had come down with the coronavirus. So he had to go into quarantine for two weeks until his symptoms completely subsided. He spoke with members of the Cowboys media about how he’s feeling physically via webcast on Tuesday afternoon. While he says he’s feeling good, all we could notice was how magnificent the new hairstyle was rocking looked.

Simply put, the locks were luscious.

Even in quarantine, Elliott is still handing the Michigan Wolverines losses. It’s quite a skill to have such an incredible troll. It has to come from the power of that afro. To be fair, Elliott has worn a long beard and has had longer hair for the last year or so. He’s added nose rings to his since of style since coming out of Ohio State. Still, we have to appreciate his quarantine hair game.

Some of us have taken a pair of buzzers or scissors to our noggins. Others are embracing their flow-turned-mullets. There are those whose natural hair color is starting to take over the rest of their mane. Either way, we’re all in this ridiculous haircut stage of our lives together. Let’s just hope someone lives you enough to not let an adult bowl cut fly. That’s not good for anybody.

Sports will be back in our lives at some point, as Elliott and the Cowboys will fight for NFC East supremacy vs. the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins. Dallas’ toughest competition will likely be the Eagles this year, but the biggest question of all is if Elliott will let that ‘fro of his grow until America’s Team wins another Lombardi Trophy? Let’s hope so.
